The Groups module in VitXi WebRTC allows users to view and interact with members of their assigned groups.
Groups are used to organize users into teams or departments — enabling collaboration, chat, and call actions directly from the group view.
Interface Overview #
The layout consists of two main sections:
- Group List Panel (left sidebar)
- Group Member Panel (main area)

Group List Panel #
Located on the left, this panel displays all the groups that the logged-in user belongs to.
Features: #
- Group Avatar and Name – Displays the group initials or custom icon and group name.
- Member Count – Indicates the number of users in each group.
- Description – Shows a brief summary of the group’s purpose or role.
- Search Bar – Quickly find a group by typing its name.
Clicking a group loads its member list on the right side.
Group Member Panel #
The right section displays all members of the selected group along with their key information and actions.
Columns: #
- Name – The full name of the group member.
- Email – The user’s email address.
- Extension – The PBX extension assigned to the user (if available).
- Actions – Quick interaction buttons:
- Call – Initiate an audio call directly to the user’s extension.
- Chat – Start a one-on-one chat with the user.
At the top of this section, the group name and total member count are shown for quick reference.
